One lifting platform, a choice of two looks
A gas-lift turns the whole area under the mattress into storage you load standing up. The struts take the platform’s weight on the way up and hold it there, so the doona changeover, the suitcases and the linen overflow go in without crawling, and disappear completely when the platform lowers. Leave room to stand beside the bed while it is raised, and match the mattress weight to what the struts are rated for.
Choosing between the pair comes down to look and size. The Yorkshire wears a light White Oak finish and comes in Queen only; the York answers in Smoke grey with its fluted headboard, and adds the King.
