Bedside tables built into the headboard. On the Giovanna, the headboard extends past the mattress on both sides to form two bedside tables, with concealed night lighting and USB charging ports under their shelves. It sits on a floating base, which keeps the frame low and leaves open space beneath it. Natural finish in Double, Queen and King; Smoke in Queen and King.

Because the bedside tables are part of the headboard, they never drift out of line with the bed, and there are no separate table legs to clean around. The trade-off is width — the headboard runs well past the mattress on each side.

The night lighting and charging ports need power, so place the bed where its cable can reach a power point without crossing a walkway. With the lighting under the shelves rather than in a lamp, the shelf tops stay clear for a phone, glasses and a book.
