Single or King Single — which one?
The choice matters more than most people realise. A Single takes a 92 × 188 cm mattress — the classic first bed. A King Single takes 107 × 203 cm: wider, and a full 15 cm longer. That 203 cm length is the same as a Queen’s, which is why the King Single is the size kids don’t outgrow — it carries a child through the teenage growth years without another bed purchase, and it doubles respectably as a spare-room bed for adult guests. If the room fits it, the King Single is usually the longer-sighted buy.
