The Antone 802 is a full-body massage chair built around a curved back rail, so the rollers travel a shaped path from head to thigh instead of a straight line up and down your spine. Seventy-four air cells do the rest of the work — arms, waist, seat, calves and feet — and the chair reclines into a zero-gravity position under a hood that rotates closed over your head. How to Read a Massage Chair Spec Sheet
Two things separate massage chairs from one another, and neither of them is the feature count on the box. The first is the shape of the track the rollers run on. A straight vertical track presses hardest at the shoulder blades and loses contact where your back hollows at the waist and pushes out at the hips — which is why some chairs feel like they stop halfway. A curved track follows that line, so the pressure stays even from the neck down. The Antone 802’s rail runs head to thigh.
The second is air-cell coverage. Rollers can only reach what they can press against, so everything else — arms, calves, feet — is done by inflatable cuffs that squeeze rather than knead. The count is a guide to coverage, not to strength: here the 74 cells are weighted towards the lower body, with 22 in the footwells and 20 down the legs. Beyond the mechanism, treat a massage chair as furniture first. It is heavy, it needs a power point within reach, and at full recline it occupies about 2.2 metres of floor. That is a real decision about a room, and it is worth making it with a tape measure rather than a photograph.

Measure the room, not just the corner. Allow around 2.3 m of clear floor from the wall to the front of the footrest at full recline, and 80 cm of width. Bring your measurements in and we’ll walk through it with you.

Ask us the maximum user weight and height. We won’t print a figure on a chair you sit in unless the manufacturer has stated it — ask in store and we’ll get you the answer in writing.
